My name is Shannon and I'm a married 30-something with two kids under the age of five. My husband and I were married in April of 2010, and we bought our first (and probably only) house that fall. Lovingly, I refer to her as the Duchess, and this house is a hot mess of fun DIY projects. We moved in and promptly started fixing up things, but got derailed for a couple years when we had our son in 2012 and our daughter in 2014. Now that the kids are both in preschool and life is a little more routine, I'm getting back into the swing of things with projects. This blog is my space to chronicle the things I'm doing in the house, so come along if you're into that kind of thing.
